Big Mac Burger

The authentic taste and texture of the world famous Big Mac is reproduced exactly in this recipe. The Big Mac always tastes the same whether you are in New York, Milan, Tokyo and now your own kitchen.

Big Mac Burger

Ingredients:

  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tsp tbsp french salad dressing
  • 1/2 tbsp sweet relish
  • 2 tsp dill pickle relish
  • 1 tsp white sugar
  • 1 tsp minced onion
  • 1 tsp white vinegar
  • 1 tsp ketchup
  • 1/8 tsp table salt
  • 1 sesame seed bun
  • 1 plain bun
  • 2 beef patties (2 oz each flattened to bun size)
  • 2 tbsp Big Mac Sauce (above)
  • 2 tsp chopped onions
  • 1 slice Hamburger cheese
  • 2 pickle slices
  • 1/4 cup shredded lettuce

Method

  • Mix all your Big Mac sauce ingredients together and place it in the fridge for at least an hour to set all the flavours marinate together.
  • Put the patties in pan to cook, and cook the patties for 2 minutes on each side.
  • Toast your sesame seed bun and the bottom of the plain bun. You don't need the top of the plain bun.
  • On the bottom bun you want to add 1 tbsp. of McDonald's Big Mac sauce on it, a tsp. of chopped onions, a handful of chopped lettuce, a slice of hamburger cheese and then one meat patty.
  • Next add the exact same ingredients as the first bun to your second bottom bun, but instead of cheese add two pickles and a dash of ketchup, your second hamburger patty and the top of your sesame bun.
